From Classy to Trashy: DIY Spiked out Pumps

Picked up these plain patent leather black heels with the intentions on wearing them for work. 

   

 

My brain had other things in mind. My first thought was to paint them with acrylic paint but these sikes were calling my name. Spiked them out and now they are no longer work suitable..but oh so suitable for play. The longest spike is 2 inches and the little baby ones half an inch. Cant wait to pair them with some black liquid leggings or a LBMD (little black mini dress). 

For anyone interested in trying this project I got the spikes from www.studsandspikes.com. They were so fun to make I want to make a few more pairs. Anyone want to buy a pair from me? lol

Foot Fetish Friday: Disgustingly Glamorous

I first discovered Gasoline Glamour a few years ago when I had my online boutique. They recently introduced a couture line called Deluxe and I damn near peed my pants when I saw the shoes. My excitement grows the more elaborate the embellishment is and this is embellishment to the max. There's not an inch of boring on any of them. I swear if I had one pair of these shoes I would rock them everyday. To the grocery store, my sons football game, family gatherings, to the doctor's office. You would have to pry them off my feet with the jaws of life.

 

 

 

Foot Fetish Friday: Jimmy Choo for H&M Sneak Peek

If you arn't feining like a junkie for the Jimmy Choo, H&M collaboration to hit the stores you must plan on walking barefoot till next summer. I know I'll be in line bright and early like a crackhead come November 12th to get first dibs on the goods. H&M will be a dangerous place to be that day so bring your battle gear. The line is going to feature 12 designs for men and women and the price range is from $55 to $138 which renders them affordable in my book. And they are killing me with the photos knowing full well us regular folk have to wait over a month to purchase.

I mentioned in earlier posts that lately I've been all about the studs so this shoe is to die for!!

These boots are fiyah! Sigh...why do I have to wait till November 14th. If it's too freaking cold to wear these open toe boots I'm going to seriously stab someone with the heel out of anger.

Foot Fetish Friday: Maybe I was wrong after all

A while ago I posted about how I just don't get the open toe boot trend. Well now I get it. Today was  a yucky, rainy and wet summer day making its transition to fall. It was too cold for flip flops but not quite cold enough for boots. Open toe booties would be perfect for this weather. You know it's getting colder but you don't yet want to succomb to the fact that summer is over. So I disgress. The trend has been warming up to me. And it doesn't help that these Alexander McQueen and Chloe boots are to die for...

Not only do I love the model's natural hair in this spread from French Vogue, but peep the mile high platforms on steroids. And I mean that literally! Those babies must be at least 20 inches.

If you think you can walk in super platforms without breaking an ankle Vivienne Westwood makes a toned down version of the one above. But be careful..Naomi Campbell took a tumble in some 9 inch Vivienne Westwood platforms in 1993. And we know how much of a skilled diva she is.
